1986 Audi Other Additional Info:
Partially restored 1986 Audi 4000CS Quattro. Pretty rare and amazing car and 5 cylinder, 5 speed! Perfect for the Audi enthusiast like myself or anyone that wants and really cool car. Runs great and is my reliable, any weather car. Has AWD, power windows and locks! I am the third owner and have only had the pleasure of driving since December of last year. I bought this car because it wasn't being used for the past few years and I thought it deserved to be back on the road. The paint was in terrible shape so I had it repainted by a professional paint shop. The battery, spark plugs, major fluids, some vacuum hoses, water pump, and timing belt all were replaced by a local shop. The valve cover bolts and other bolts needed to be tightened. Some oil was leaking from the valve cover but hasn't since the bolts were tightened. The drivers side window regulator and 2 door handles were also replaced. The AWD and locking front and rear differentials work great. Transmission and engine are solid. A few things I didn't get around to yet are the wiper stem, the sunroof, and the odometer. The wiper stem is broken off but the wipers are fully functional by using the broken off part still connected. The odometer is stuck at 119,337 miles and according to the last owner was only broken for a few low mileage years. According to Experian AutoCheck, the last owner purchased the car in 1996 with 80k on the odometer. I have only used it around town and have probably put on about 3k. The sunroof motor needs a hand as its not really strong enough anymore. The heat and AC work but only out of the side vents, not the center ones. The original seat are in pretty good shape. No major rips or tears, just some of the lining is stated to come up. I will include the Yakima cross bars, but will be taking off the Thule ski racks. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Thanks and good luck bidding!
Disclaimer: For a 30+ year old car, I think it is in great shape. There may be small things that I may have overlooked. I encourage anyone interested to come look at it and drive it in person if possible.
