1994 Audi S4 Sedan Additional Info:
I bought the car back in September of 2015 and the car had been quite neglected. Over the past 1 ½ I've spend more time, blood, and sweat into the car than I can put a price on. After owning 2 B5 S4's, and 2 B6 S4's, I can proudly say this has been the best car yet; I swore I'd never sell it, but that was before I found my dream car.
Since ownership at 174,xxx I've replaced almost every component that's known to fail on these. Here's just the stuff I can remember off the top of my head:
-ECS Tuning Ultimate Timing Belt Kit
- Valve Cover Gasket
-Crank and Cam Seal
-New Heater Core with G12 Coolant Flush
-Powersteering Flush with new X-Plug
-New Coolant Lines
-BKR7E Spark Plugs
-New Front Control Arm Bushings
-OEM Starter
-OEM Alternator
-New MAF
-Rebuilt Front and Rear Calipers
-6kW HID Kit
As for the Good Good Upgrades:
Rebuilt 6SP Transmission from the C5 A6 (Same as B5 S4)
-034 Stage 1 Tune
-034 Turbo Inlet with Cone Filter
-Mitsimoto Silicon Intercooler Hoses
-034 Short Shifter
-034 Coilpack Conversion
-Modified stock Downpipe to 3" catless to stock rear muffler
-Koni Shocks with H&R Green Springs all around
-Brembo Rotors with EBC Red Stuff
-B5 S4 Steering Wheel and Shifter Knob
-OEM Carbon Fiber Trim
The car was originally Emerald Green when I first bought it, naturally the clear coat was in all non-existent. I repainted the car in Cactus Green back in October 2016, and haven't really found the time to cut and buff it yet. There's a lot of shine waiting to come out of it! There are a few runs, but all the detail guys I've talked to say they can be sanded out. Also bought new mid trim and smoked corners for the headlights around the same time. Vehicle is a solid 20ft'r.
I have a ton of new parts waiting to go onto the car, aswell as a full URS6 Parts car that I'll throw in for the right price. Car is complete minus the ECU and motor. I'll be keeping those. It still has all body panels, complete interior, and the Vacuum Assist Brake Conversion for the next buyer.
Car is Currently sitting on 17" Avus Wheels from the B5 S4 with new tires (One has a small leak I'll try to get sorted out). I also have the original 16" Fuchs, and a set of 18" AMG Replica Wheels I can include.
Items that need addressing:
-Car has small crack in the bumper behind the license plate from a sheet of ice that I hit on the road last Winter. I still have all 3 undamaged grills. Can easily be plastic welded.
-Headliner Sags (I have a perfect condition on from my S6 parts car that will be included in sale.)
-Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings and Tie Rods need replacing (I have brand new ones from ECS Tuning waiting to go on)
It's been a cold Winter so fixing the issues have been slow although they're not too difficult of task and all parts are on hand.
This vehicle has been extremely reliable and has never let me down on the 5 separate trips from NY to GA and back. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to California tomorrow. Extremely clean example of a very rare, highly sought after car.
