1974 Replica/Kit Makes Excalibur Phaeton SS Series II Oldtimer Additional Info:
1974 Excalibur Phaeton SS - Series II - one of 270SeriesII produced between 1970 & 1974 by auto designer Brooke Stevens in Milwaukee - Wisconsin, this fact makes this Series II Excalibur super rare . Very powerful Corvette V-8 engine and automatic transmission in excellent working order, power steering, power brakes, drives good and it's very fast, pretty big and heavy automobile, 4 people will fit inside very comfortable, Series I and II have the real Supercharged pipes connected to the manifold on both sides of the hood, these functional pipes would get very Ho, on the late models the pipes were just fakes, installed for a vintage look. Clean engine compartment, famous Mercedes 500K Style Grill and hood ornament, prewar style headlights and horntrumpets, dual exhaust, 2 pieces aluminum hood, louvered for extra air ventilation, prewar style windshield and 3 cool wipers, AC & heater, nice and clean interior, all 4 seats were redone a few months ago and they are like new, new black carpet recently installed, Vintage Motorola stereo cassette in working condition, vintage tilted steering wheel with Excalibur logo on the spoke and horn button, padded dash & classic instruments, Hard top & soft top convertible, the soft top comes with a snap on boot, vehicle has also all 4 side curtains (side windows for those rainy weekends) wind deflectors, luggage rack & beautiful chest leather trunk... and a lot of other vintage goodies and cool things on this rare Series II.... This Excalibur features the most expensive Italian wire wheels, Boranni Milano Ruote, just a set of 6 used wire wheels as these wheels would cost over $10,000, back in the day these Knock-off wheels were called "Milanese Masterpieces" andBorrani's best customer during that period was Enzo Ferrar, who specified that all his racing and road cars be fitted with Borrani wire wheels. Borranis were also used on cars like Alfa Rome, Aston Marti, Fia, Maserati and Lamborghini .Please check the pictures in this listing, they would talk for this rare Excalibur Series II, not new, not perfect but still super nice for a vehicle built back in 1974.... draws attention everywhere.
