1968 AMC Javelin

1968 AMC Javelin Additional Info:

I must sell my 1968 AMC JAVELIN due to health and age. I hunted a long time for a rust free Javelin and hate to sell it as it's a blast to drive. The car isn't a race car but was built as a tribute race car. It has a roll cage, racing seats and belts, rear jump seat, tach, gauges, fuel cell, traction bars etc. The engine is a great running AMC 304 V8 with a T-10 4 speed. When I purchased the car it had a 3:15 posi rear but was too tall. I had all NEW gears put into the posi rear I think they are a 3:90 which is a nice highway gear. The car is tight and no power steering but does have front disc brakes. The wheels are 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrust II. I just installed a new electronic distributor. The engine has headers, edelbrock 4 barrel, line lock, electric fuel pump, etc. The car has 2 speed electric wipers and a heater. Car is clean underside and I feel rust free. The interior is nice with headliner carpeting etc. I'm 76 so the car has been driven by a senior and not beat up. It's just neat to drive and makes you smile and feel young again. I can't think of anything wrong or needing attention to the Javelin. A bid on E-Bay is serious and I must sell so PLEASE bid only if you’re serious!
