1988 AMC Eagle Wagon – Rare Last-Year Model | Lifted | Reliable 4X4

Up for sale is my1988 AMC Eagle Wagon, thelast year these were madeand one of 2,306 produced, making it a pretty rare classic. This Eagle is areliable daily driverwith a nice mix of originality and useful upgrades.

This car haslived in California its entire life, which is a big deal for these cars becausemost Eagles you see for sale are rusted outfrom living in snowy or salty climates. Being aCalifornia car, this one is clean and solid, which is getting harder and harder to find. It was alsodisplayed in a museum for a period of time, which speaks to how well it has been preserved. It currently hasOregon plates, but it has always been aCalifornia car.

It has a2-inch lift kitwithnew wheels and tires, giving it a great stance and extra ground clearance. Thefront and rear shocks are new, and thedrivers sideCV axle has been replaced, so the drivetrain feels solid and ready to go.The engine has had a recent tune-up/ Oil change. New windshield wipers LED interior lights. Yellow LED fog lights. 64x39x4 roof rack.new spark plugs and wires, also theheater core has been replacedas well. It runs and drives well and is ready for everyday use. The six cylinder is reliable. It also has power windows.The AC works but needs a new charge. I'll probably go this week and get it charged because it is warming up where I live. I have stock the wheels with original rims also a matching spare tire all-terrain. Theinterior is good condition, including avery clean headliner. The driver seat does have aworn section, but otherwise the interior is pretty nice. The windows have newceramic tint to help block UV rays and keep the cabin cooler. It was done by a professional last month that Tints all the windows for the Mercedes-Benz dealership and the Audi dealership.

These Eagles are known for their all-wheel-drive making it great in rain, snow, or dirt roads. Just a flip of the switch.

It also does long distance trips without any problems.
