Super cool and super rare!1964 Rambler American convertible with a V8 conversion with all factory V8 parts from a 1967 Rogue!Nice running 290 V8 with correct V8 small body crossmember and mounts, V8 springs, V8 10" front brakes, V8 front sway bar and RARE 3.15 Twin Grip (Posi) V8 AMC 20 American rear....This is super rare because the Rambler Americans didn't actually receive the 290 V8 engine until 1966. The driveline in this 64 along with all the bolt on V8 parts were taken off a 1967 Rambler American Rogue!!....This starts, runs and drives but hasn't been on the road in a number of years!...Definitely a project car but pretty solid little car with the typical rust found in the usual places (mainly or mostly in rear qtrs and floors) ....The box frame, front and rear subframes, upper and lower radiator supports, front fenders, hood and trunk all seem to be in pretty nice overall shape...Convertible top is electric and has a homemade "fabric" (I personally have never had top down)...Heater core has been disconnected due to a leak since photos were taken. Wheels and tires shown on car are from my AMX and ARE NOT included....I will include the original set of 4 steel wheels with older but decent tires....I have back seat, top of passenger door trim piece and rear interior panels that I will include with car....I also have some other parts available for additional $ and are NOT included with auction such as an NOS quarter panel, NOS rear bumper, NOS grille, NOS headlight surrounds, NOS valance trim, Repop hood ornament, Front disc brake conversion parts, 360s and 401s, 3.54 TG rear etc and a bunch more I'm probably forgetting! Only reason this is up for sale is we have a bunch of projects and more importantly could use the room!! VERY REASONABLE (LOW) RESERVE that you would be hard pressed to find another one let alone a V8 with all the right parts! Please ask any/all questions PRIOR to bidding.
