This is a 1962 AMC Rambler American 2-door Wagon. One of 4,434 total built in 1962. It has a 195 cu in. L-head Inline 6 with 3 on the tree manual.


The body has been completely redone, new floors and rockers. All original glass with seals etc.... Engine was rebuilt with new valves other than that it didn't need much (these are rock solid reliable). Rebuilt starter, generator, fuel pump, and carb with NOS OEM parts (hard to find). New OEM voltage regulator, vacuum wiper motor, new distributor points ignition, new clutch, all new brakes, and complete interior with new headliner. Fuel tank was also redone with a new sending unit and NOS firestone bias ply tires.


It came from the factory with no interior door panels or floor covering, the seats still need to be redone. I have everything you need to complete the project and it will be a sweet car. Just ran out of time to finish the project, needs someone with the desire and time to push it across the finish line! It has been an easy project so far, not a lot of fuss. I'm headed out to travel the world in the spring and don't want the car to sit while I'm gone.
