1969 AMC AMX Additional Info:

I was searching for a 1969 AMX with platinum interior - the first car I purchased arrived but needed way more work than I was willing to do at my age - then I located and purchased this car - prior to it arriving I located and purchased a third platinum car and had it shipped - the third car arrived before getting the second car - it is my dream AMX - mink black with platinum interior - striking combo and very, very rare (390, 4 speed as well) - with that I had to make a decision on which car to keep and of course the black car is staying with me and I need to send this one off to a new owner.
This 1969 AMX is Castilian gray with platinum interior - it is a 390, 4 speed car - in its past it was changed over to an automatic transmission but most everything is with the car to change it back to the 4 speed combination - pedals, bellhousing, flywheel, z bar, etc. (shifter is missing) - this car was a heavily optioned car as well - PS, PB, electric wipers, go pack, A/C, and tilt wheel - the most amazing thing to me about this car is the fact it is RUST FREE - I have owned a couple 2 or 3 dozen AMX's over the years and this is the most rust free I have ever brought home - yes it is a project but some sweat equity will yield a beautiful car worth well more than the money invested (my opinion of course) - if I had not found the black car I would love to keep this one but time and money does not allow that at this time - I am amazed at how clean this shell is - I find no bondo in the body when going over it with a light magnet - this car is a gem - it was painted quite some time ago and was thick with dust when I got it home - I only washed it off - a little cut and buff will make this a beauty for sure - with that, here are details:
-Rust free body-new wheels and tires-new windshield-new grill-new paint-overhauled 390 engine (.030 bore, mains .030, rods .020)-fresh 291C heads (new valves, springs, 3 angle hardened seats, seals, etc.)-new Legendary door panels-new Legendary rear panels-seats redone with Legendary covers and new foam kits-clear title-4 speed items included-floors and trunk excellent-subframes excellent-troughs excellent-dual exhaust-all trim included-new complete engine gasket set-new pushrods-new cam/lifters (stock)-I have a couple different Hurst shifters available for additional purchase - this is an early car and came with the non-Hurst factory shifter-new black stripe kit for the body-all the trim/moldings is with the car-new door and trunk locks-new complete carpet kit (not installed)-original shifter (no handle)-air cleaner assembly included
Missing:-no intake, carb, or distributor-no A/C pump, brackets, condense-I know there are a few other misc. items that will come about as one starts assembling the car-bumpers are driver quality-radiator needs a redo (I did not get one with it but have one here)
I tried to describe everything best I can - I welcome phone calls to discuss this gem - I will add a few more pics as the seats are not back from my upholstery guy - Feel free to call - my name is Dean - cell 701-205-6906 / car is located in West Fargo, ND - Thank you very much.
