1985 AMC Eagle Woody Additional Info:
1985 AMC Eagle wagon, 4wd, auto trans, 92k miles. One owner from 1985-2017. Original rust free one registered owner survivor, until I registered it this year. I purchased this "woody" from a gentleman who bought it from the original owner as a Father/son project but the son lost interest. The car had not been run or driven since 1999, when the original owner (80 year old woman) backed it into a pole in the barn and that is where it stayed until the 2nd owner bought it in 2017. He replaced the damaged rear hatch and broken tail light. The bent bumper remains, the rear quarter and rear panel where straightened and painted. You can see the blend when you look close. Also the hatch still doesn't fit well, see the last pic. Could use some more work to make it look better. The great thing about this wagon is it is absolutely rust free, no rust, never any rust. Frame and floors are perfect. Interior is excellent, lighter and ash tray have never been used! seats are excellent, dash is perfect, carpet exc, steering wheel has cracks, incorrect knob on wiper/washer switch and headliner is sagging. Extensive work was done to recommission the Eagle. Runs great now, sounds great, stops perfect, drives but still needs some more work to be a daily driver. I bought this for a winter car, but after seeing how rust free and near perfect the undercarriage and interior were, I just couldn't do it. Selling now to help fund college for my daughter.
