Rarity, style, and comfort come together nicely on this 1969 AMC AMX Go Package. But really you just love it because this is a well-finished classic with a ton of power under the hood. This AMX was carefully restored later in life, and it was only driven sparingly ever since. That means a deep luster in the paint. And the classic lacquer finish in the factory-correct Beal Street Blue brings out all the best curves of this car.... These first-generation AMX cars ride on a sports-car friendly shorter wheelbase, and the proportions are just right to get the long hood, flared fenders, and a sporty fastback with a hint of flying buttress. So when you have shining paint and good bodywork, you really get to show this unique machine off with pride. Plus, there are some great details here, too, with the Mag-style wheels with color-matched centers, and the grooves in the hood are painted silver to match the pinstripe. If you like that silvery color on the outside as an accent, then you'll love the interior. That's because the seats and door panels are finished in a similar style. Even without the right color combo, the AMX was a great place to spend some time. This is a personal sports car with well-bolstered bucket seats, a center console, and a sunroof. It also has the look of classic American luxury with plenty of premium wood-like trim. But don't mistake this AMX for a coddler; it's a driver's machine. The grippy factory sports steering wheel gives you a clear view to the large speedo and tach. And this one even has a roll bar nicely integrated for added rigidity. Under the hood is a 390 cubic-inch V8. This is believed to be the car's original block, but you can also see it has been packed with go-fast goodies to get even more out of AMC's mighty motor. It includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Mallory billet distributor, and MSD Blaster 2 coil. Plus, Hedman long tube headers add even more power while contributing to the thunder of the dual exhaust. And it's easy to show off this powerful classic thanks to nice driving features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. We have plenty of receipts documenting the restoration, but the way this one feels and drivers instantly affirms it has been treated with care. So if you like rare and powerful classic Americans, don't miss this AMX. Call today!!!
