1972 AMC AMX Additional Info:
This Dude that looked like Chuck Norris walked his big red mastiff past my house every day. Cut off shorts, tank top, boots, that was his uniform. Sometimes his cat walked too. I would greet him warmly, he would grunt his salutations and move on. I should have guessed it was his AMX parked around the corner, halfway in the garage, halfway out. Occasionally the hood would be up well past 10pm, late night wrenching and silver bullet beer was the mantra. I never saw the AMX prowling the neighborhood, but I heard it. Usually around 11:30 or midnight, a haunting, thundering roar would echo from the block behind mine. I knew it was Chuck out hooking up the posi on the late night rounds. A small, odd advert solicited a mechanic in the local want ads. Said mechanic was supposed to be able to wrench together an Amx. I put it all together and responded. I am now the owner of the 360/auto 72 Amx. I bought it, and now you can get it from me if you like it. Its been a year. I had to get the title corrected for the car. It was a bi^%$h. The thing roars to life and will "yard drive" around pretty good. The Amx is smoking up the block now and could really use a good freeway run to blow it out. I am setting the bar high for this particular vehicle. The Amx is an underrated machine. The engine bay is stripped down and void of all the hoses and doo-dads that clog up the look of a race car for the street. Inside it is spartan at best. The styling is pure, raucous and rowdy. The car just looks like it will kick your ass, pretty much like its previous owner. Starts/stops/steers/title/shipping. Let me know if you want it, I will deliver. Ask questions, I will answer. They said its a Go-Pack, yes thats a tic-toc-tach. Thanks, Harris
