1968 AMC AMX Additional Info:
I am the 3rd owner of this1968 AMX 390 4 speed car. This production # 01347 with the number badge on the glove box. Car has a 390cid engine that puts out 315 hp. Also has a 354postreaction rear end and a close ratio T10 Borg Warner 4 speed transmission ALL ORIGINAL. Car is one of 400 that came with AC and a 4 speed trans(all the parts are there but working) This is a rust free car painted by the late Bob Resinger. Car has twin piston disc brakes like a corvette. AMC put out that this was the poor mans corvette seeing how that AMX was the only 2 seater built in the USA at the time. Car still has the original 4 speed shifter most have a Hurst shifter.
