It is a pleasure to drive. It drives and shifts very nicely. It’s quick!!
The power steering and power disc brakes make it easy to drive in today’s busy traffic.

This is a rust-free, California car. It was purchased in Glendora, CA. in 1998 and shipped to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, where it remained, unlicensed and virtually undriven, until we purchased it in November 2016. The original 1998 California plate was on the car when we purchased it.
We have been in contact with the original owners who are still living at the same address all these years later.
We even found old Oil Change decals dating from 1993 and 1996. The ’96 sticker showed 81,907 miles. 21 years later the car has just turned 83,000 miles.
When we bought it, the paint was faded, the top was rolling off, (Note the “Before” picture) and it was dirty, but everything was there, and there was no rust!
The original paint was still visible on the floor boards!
The interior is all original except for the carpet, sport steering wheel and dash overlay.

The engine compartment was cleaned and detailed. A new water pump, fuel pump, alternator, wires, and plugs were all installed.
The original carburetor was professionally cleaned and rebuilt.
The metal trim was removed, cleaned and polished.
The bumpers are new. The original rubber bumper guards were not reinstalled (I think it looks better this way). The bumper guards are in nice condition and come with the car.
New weather stripping rubbers were installed.

The car was professionally repainted in a color that is very close to the original Trans Am Red.

A new windshield was installed. All other glass is in very good condition.

The trunk is very clean and rust-free. It holds the original jack, full-size spare and tire tool.
The original seat belts are there and work properly. An interesting note on the front belts…they can either be used as a lap belt or as shoulder harness…. they’re convertible.

A new Boss AM-FM, Remote Control CD Player, complete with USB and SD ports was discreetly installed under the dash. New replacement speakers were installed in the original spaces in the rear deck and front dash.

The styling of the replacement vinyl top is original to the car. It was not a factory install, but a special California modification. We have found at least three other cars with similar styling on the web!

The car is not perfect, but very nice. The only chrome that could be improved is on the outside mirrors. The remote works well. The glass is good, but the chrome could be better.

The original California plate goes with the car.
Come look and drive it….. drive it home if you like.
