1974 AMC AMX Javelin Additional Info:

Up for auction is a really nice, very rare AMX with the Go Package. There were 4,980 Javelin AMX built in 1974 and of those 776 came with the 401. We acquired from the 2nd owner with 38,962 original miles.

This engine is the original strong running 401 with 4 barrel carburetor. The transmission is Hurst equipped 4 speed manual with twin grip differential (posi). It has power disc brakes. It really gets down the road. With the ceramic coated headers and dual exhaust, it really sounds terrific too. It has the Rally Pack fuel/temp/oil/amp combo, 140 MPH speedometer, and tachometer with a clock.

The body is original and still rock solid. It is a western car that has been owned by a Michigan collector who did not drive in the winters. The quarters and floors are original with no patches. There has been no rust ever and no Bondo. It is very straight and very clean. The wheels are perfect and the tires are like new.

Very nice Cobalt Blue paint. Very nice trim and glass. The chrome is beautiful. The bumpers are nice and straight.

Interior is very nice with no issues.

You will not be disappointed with this one. The only things not original are the paint, the radio and the radiator.

Balance is due within 7 days of auction close. For the balance due, we will only accept cash ON DELIVERY (in person) or a certified check. Vehicle and title will not be released until funds clear.
