1983 Alfa Romeo Spider Additional Info:

This is a 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider. Was originally a fuel injected car with Bosch system. Replaced with two Side Mount Weber Carbs and European intake manifold. Bought car out of Florida...was told it needed a starter. Had no keys, o had to remove starter switch. Have new switch with keys (not installed). Starter was not wired, hen I tried to start it, t had about 60# compression on each cylinder. I was hoping it had a bad head gasket. Replaced head gasket, o change. Tried another head with another head gasket, o change. Still 60# on each cylinder. Guess rings are stuck from sitting too long? Will need engine swap or rebuild. Guessing clutch master/ slave and brake master will need rebuilt...hoses were disconnected.
This is a restoration project, r can be bought as a parts car. I have lost interest and have moved on to other cars. This is a no reserve auction, ighest bidder gets it. all tires are up, o towing is not an issue. Has some rust in non traditional spots for Alfa, nd areas that should rust are not bad...Florida? Comes with convertible top snap cover as pictured. Top in ok shape, ut plastic window has come undone behind driver seat. No radio. Has popular star wheels with star spare tire as well (factory spare - michelin). Weber carbs have been rebuilt and can be used on another alfa if you wish. Includes tool kit. Drivers door handle snapped off, eeds a new finger pull.
All glass good. This is an "as is" auction. I recommend you come see it if local. mileage is unknown, old as exempt on title. 100 miles listed in ad cause ebay would not accept any other value.
