1992 Alfa Romeo Spider-One owner
This bright yellow Spider, one owner since new, always in California is a great daily driver. Needless to say but absolutely NO rust.
She comes with a factory hardtop in perfect condition and a brand new Robbins style cloth convertible top.
Drives, shifts, brakes and handles smoothly. It’s so fun to drive in the tall mountains and does not overheat or run hot like earlier Alfa Spiders. No oil drips/leaks. This is a fun and easy driver. So much that many women bought these Series 4 cars as a daily driver here in the sunbelt. The convertible top is so easy to put up/down that I do it one handed.
If you want a nice, original, Series 4 Spider to tool around on a lazy Sunday or use as a daily driver in moderate climates this will do the job easily and this yellow is an eye grabber with black leather and Alcantra style inserts so your rear doesn’t overheat in the sun.
Cosmetically, it is average for the year. Some clear coat peeling, mostly on the trunk lid, none on the top as barely used. Two small dents, around ¼ sized, one in the front nose due to an overzealous mechanic and another in the hood. Other than that, just the normal wear and tear of being driven, pampered but not a show repaint like so many 20+ year old cars. The wheels are original and they are in perfect, I mean, NO road rash condition. Front Alfa hood badge is worn. Carpet is original and soft to touch with no rips, stains or rub spots as well as seats and upholstery.
Original Alfa wood steering wheel and shift knob bought from Alfa dealer. Aftermarket Sony CD/Mp3 player with amp, bass and newer speakers, tastetfully done to blend with the OE look.
The following are things that need attention: 1) Factory A/C does not blow cold. Don’t know when last recharged. Ie, long, long time. Never converted to the new stuff. 2) Also has a broken windshield on the right side-wanted to replace with OEM but never got around to it. 3) Gas gauge doesn’t register, I always went by miles driven. Those are the only things that need repair/replacement.
This Alfa Spider was used exclusively in the Northern California/Napa wine region for Sunday drives and a short commute to work.
Comes with original keys, Repair and owners manuals, hardtop and clear California title.
Feel free to call/text/email with questions. Car is located in Reno, NV. 89511 at my Summer home.
