1976 Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 Inezione -
Mileage may not be accurate due to speedometer's mechanical limits.
Modified with mag wheels; decent tires.
Rollbar
Front and rear spoilers
Carello covers
Driver’s race seat (comes with original seat.). Both original seats will need to be redone.
Hardtop!
Exhaust/Notes match it’s looks!
There is NO rear bumper.
Softtop needs to be replaced - new softtop in trunk - came with car, I haven’t spread it out to check it (in red bag in trunk).
Typical rust spots as shown in photos. Floors look solid. Passenger front cowl drainpipe will need to be replaced as it leaks!
Has lots of dings and dents and the paint job is rated 0 out of 10. I call it the Road Warrior with about 50 shades of black! Original color is blue.
Erratic gauges - I know the fuel gauge doesn’t register - others probably need to be checked as well!
Items that don’t work: handbrake, choke (missing), reverse gear - works but pops out (“hold it down while reversing” ;)
Engine appears strong and this is the 1st Alfa that has not leaked on my driveway - I was worried there may be no oil - but oil is up to the mark and clean!
The car has a clean California title, although there may be back fees. Prior owner didn’t transfer ownership and moved the car to Reno. Was most recently owned by a rock singer’s son in Reno, who sold it and some other cars due to lack of parking. Supposedly the car made the Hot August Night circuits in Reno.
Unsure of smog status. Ideal for an out of state purchaser - no hassle of back fees or smog passing.
For this reason it is not for sale in California other than as a parts car.
It was driven about 100 miles since I purchased it six months ago. Made it from Roseville to Concord (with a lot of head turning along the way :) Starts after 2 months at a stretch!
I am selling it due to lack of space (and energy to work on it!) and I don’t want it deteriorating outside. Same goes for the 280SE. Located a Euro 6.9 and going to devote more attention to it!
CAR AND ANY REFERENCED PARTS ARE BEING SOLD AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
The start price is very low considering the added bits, with no reserve - this model, NOW 40 years old should appreciate in value soon!
