I obtained this car in June 2019 with 57,088 milesMechanical inspectional was performe, the engine was strong with good compression. It had been sitting, not driven for unknown period (original owner was not available to answer questions) the paint and interior were in poor shape. I gave my favorite body shop the car to perform a full paint job, striped to bare metal, doors, trunk and hood removed. They had the car for two years transforming it to show quality at a cost of $7500.The original color black was retained, it is refinishedin Audi Mythos Black. The exterior modifications during the process included removing the bulky looking side mirrorswith stainless steel units as original design was originally intended to be. The rear spoiler was replaced with a Zender replacement to create a lower profile than the factory unit, the bumpers and spoiler were painted body color. All exterior rubber, window surrounds, door, trunk and hood were replaced, Rear taillights were replaced with aftermarket units, identical to factory. Headlights, Hella H4's w/LED bulbs, relays installedto reduce load on the fragile factory switch. Top was replaced with German Sonnenland Mohair, top boot custom fabricated in StayFast black canvas. The wheels were stripped and refinished in traditional silver powder coating. I can't remember the last time I drove it without a thumbs up or comment from aperson stopped next to me at a light. The suspension was altered with Centerline loweringsprings (about 1" lower, and frame stiffener (eliminates cowl shake Alfa's are known for). Koni Red shocks, Tires 195/65-14 Vredstein Sportrac. All suspension bushings were replaced. The ride is solid, tight, with extremely predictable handling.Interior, factory carpet was replaced with factory carpet from a donor car. While carpet and seats were out the entire floorpan was lined withDynamat, The seats, reupholstered in off-white leather with black contrast stiching, door card re-fabricated with matching material, top frame and other black metal trim pieces were powder coated in satin black.the dashboard was removed, typical cracks were repaired and covered with high quality padded leatherette with stitching detail, MomoPortotipo steering wheel. Blaupunkt Bremen with bluetooth streaming gives the dash a period correctappearence. the rear package shelf has speakers hidden below perforated carpet, the package shelf design was reimagined with stainless steel runners. The front speakers are installed in the factory location . Courtesy lights are LED with blue ambient lighting to create a cool blue hue at night. The interior is rattle free.Transmission rebuilt with redline synthetic fluid installed. There is zero synchro crunch, smooth shifting even when cold. Engine is unmodified with late model 2 piece exhaust manifold and heatshield.Last oil service at 60,016 miles. To let the SUV's know you're there, Hella Air Horns create the noise. Other unique details include anelectronic gas door release, LED rear fogs installed in factory rear light location. Coco Mats including a matching pad on the console.I have an original owners manual in perfect condition. The paint was ceramic coated, water beads off to minimize drying time and effort, never driven in the rain while I've owned it. If you live in a state that doesn't care, I have a straight thru pipe to eliminate the catylticconvertor. The cost to do it again would easily exceed $30,000 my asking price is half of what it would cost to buy aused Alfa with similar miles and duplicate what I've done. Receipts for service and parts are included in the sale.2 sets of keys, one is original (as pictured).
