This 1964 Alfa 2600 Spider, chassis number AR 192644, was manufactured on the 12th November 1963 and sold on the 31st March 1964 to Alfa Romeo Inc., Newark USA.
The car has been comprehensively restored over a 10 year period to concours standards.
Bare metal body restoration including new floors and gloss black single stage paint.
The engine was fully rebuilt including cam reprofiling and conversion to Weber 40 DCOE2 (original Solex carbureters included in sale), high torque modern starter motor, and electronic distributor.
Transmission fully rebuilt with 105 synchros. Suspension, wiring brakes, fuel, and cooling systems all also completely rebuilt.
Engine by Import Auto Machine Shop, Santa Barbara CA., a respected shop with extensive Italian engine experience.
All assembly by Alfa Italia, Burbank CA. a respected shop with 50 years of Alfa experience.
