This 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 presents an opportunity to restore one of the most iconic transaxle-era Alfas. Stored in a garage in the Pacific Northwest for the past decade, this GTV6 is a very complete project that was running when parked approximately 10 years ago. It currently does not run, but is a viable candidate for revival.

The undercarriage and frame are solid, and the car has very minimal rust overall, with a few small isolated spots visible in the body panels and notable rust in the spare tire compartment (see images). A light impact is present on the passenger front fender (see images), but no structural frame damage is apparent.

The odometer shows 7,084 miles, which has likely rolled over—estimated actual mileage is approximately 107,084 miles. The oil level is correct and appears clean on the dipstick.

Inside, the interior is in impressive condition for its age, with well-preserved seats, door panels, and carpets. Glass appears to be original throughout. A period-correct Ansa sport exhaust system is fitted, enhancing the GTV6’s already legendary V6 sound.

This GTV6 is a rare price point for an Alfa enthusiasts looking for a solid, unmolested restoration candidate, whether you’re planning a factory-correct restoration or a performance build.
