Vehicle Details

1965 early 1600 Ti - AR457613 -

Bluette on oxblood interior.

The beloved “Coupe Killer” is a purpose built turn key Alfa, and is well cared for. Current CA title and registered in my name.

I first met Norm Silverman at Willow Springs in 2015. Norm was the Alfa Club president of Southern California for many years. Norm originally found this 65’ Ti by way of Fred Schueddekopp around 2000. The car was originally from Northern California. Norm and Fred teamed up and restored the car and later showed the the Ti at Concorso, in Monterey. It’s been 20 years since Fred left California for the Pacific Northwest, and since then the car has been serviced by Santo’s Italian Car Service. l always told Norm “if he wanted to sell to let me know”... One day, in May of 2018 he called me. Norm and I hold the history on the car, and it’s been Alfa Club loved and owned for the last 24 years. You may have seen it at Willow Springs over the years. Norm and his Ti were always thing, and his Ti was dubbed the Coupe Killer as he may or may not have (lightly) rubbed paint and sent 3 different Alfa 105 Coupes off the track :) When I got the car, I set out to clean everything up internally and mechanically, but not touch the history and charm of this early car. My goal was preservation with tasteful upgrades. It’s currently set up to do anything- street or weekend rallies. We used a carpet kit and lizard skin on the new floor pans top and bottom to seal and sound deaden. The snap-out interior and carpets can be quickly removed for track days. The car is very comfortable to drive with all the factory original options one would want on a street car. If you want a more traditional interior, you could pull the cage and mount the original oxblood Ti seats. The car ran Turbina’s for many years for their offset and being lightweight. I have updated the wheels since then.

Upgraded:

-Healthy 2.0L motor with 5,530 miles currently

-Allan ward suspension ***

-All new fresh floor pans

-Restored dash

-GTA 4 hole wheel

-Radiator cleaned and flushed + overflow

-Complete new interior + Sparco Sprint seats

-New Deist five point harnesses

-Remote battery and kill switch

-Brake system serviced

-Tank flushed and fuel system gone through

-Everything works however the water temp gauge needle has had a mind of its own lately

-Recent fresh white nose was executed this winter

-Fresh set of wheels and great tires for multi use, Azenis 195/60/14

Between Norm and I, we have had Southern California’s Alfa specialist- Santo’s Italian car service handle the car for the last 19 years. I would never paint this one, just sayin. Out of all of my Alfas this one handles the best by far. If you want more of the history and or want to talk price, I’m an Alfa guy, just give me a ring. I have a cold start and short drive videos as well.

Thanks, be well.
