Circa 1978, World Champion F1 Driver Niki Lauda signed on to the Parmalat-sponsored Brabham-Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team after a very successful and exciting run with Ferrari. To celebrate Niki, Alfa Romeo launched a special edition Spider in his honor. The Niki Lauda Edition Spider was limited to just 350 units distributed world wide and all were offered in one color scheme, Brabham F1 livery, 514... Carman Red with blue and white stripes.
