1970 Alfa Romeo GTV Step Nose Additional Info:
1970 ALFA ROMEO 1300 GT JUNIOR. Up for sale is my 1970 GT Junior STEP NOSE HOOD DESIGN. I bought it fitted with a 1974 2000 motor that was converted from fuel injection to Webber Carbs.Includedwith the car is a second running 1750 motor and tranny with Webber Carbs which I was giong to put in the car.The lights in the middle of the front grill are rally lights bolted onto the front lower valance and can be removed for originality. This is the rare sought after two headlight design GT Junior. The front grill is theearly Sprint grill which is the best looking for the Step Nose. The car was painted red just before I bought it, the original colour was silver.I have owned the car for over 20 years and it's time to let someone with the time, put this beautiful Italian machine back together. All the parts to put the car back together (except window rubber) come with the car plus some extras. The front seats are from a 74 2000 GTV with head rests. The interior and head liner are in good condition. the diver's seat has a tear and will need some attention. The body has some bubbling and surface rust. also the floors and rockers have rust and will need attention (See pictures below). The trunk spare wheel section and rear wheel arches have been redone and are in good condition. This car has never a full restoration so the floors and rockers are original. The rims are two piece from Australia and I think they are quite rare. I oil sprayed the floors and engine bay when I was driving it and the body is solid. All Glass and Chrome come with the car. If you were to put the car back together you could drive it. All bolts and wireconnectionshave beenlabelled for putting it back together. The car was taken apart to have a full restoration done but I have too many other project on the go.
If you have never driven a GTV you aretrulymissing out on one of life's greatpleasures.
See more pictures below ( The car is up on jack stands in the pictures )
