Up for sale is this excellent driver quality 101 Series Giulia 1600 Sprint. These are fitted by the factory with the 1600 cc engine. This car is in fantastic shape although it is not a show car. It's clean everywhere as seen in the photos. Vehicle is registered and located in Los Angeles, California. Mileage indicated on the odometer is 52,784
Shows careful and responsible use over the years by the various custodians. Reliable and running very well. Drive anywhere. No visible rust, top or bottom. Lots of new or rebuilt parts including master cylinder, pedal box,rubber hoses, fan belt, generator, starter, new water pump. Fitted with the single down-draft Solex carb. Electric fuel pump provides ease of starting. Engine is smooth and has excellent power with no unusual noises. Good brakes, clutch and 5-speed gearbox. Very tidy engine compartment. Powder-coated exhaust pipes and manifold. Tool roll and small tools plus jack will accompany the car. Gauges all working except oil temp likely due to faulty sender or broken wiring circuit...will attempt to fix/replace sending unit already in possession prior to sale.
Some literature such as service manuals and guides along with my parts and repair receipts will accompany the car as will whatever extra parts and material I received from prior owner.
There are minor blemishes on the body but it has generally shiny paint that presents well. Otherwise this is a pretty little gem. Do resist the urge to restore her. This is the kind of car you use and enjoy as is. When some need arises, fix it and carry on. Much better in my opinion than getting buried in extensive restoration and missing out on driving pleasure. I will attempt to take my own medicine in the future as well! There you have it. An included old California DMV registration card indicates that this vehicle was possibly owned (at least per registration card) during the period 1994 through 2002 by Martin Swig/San Francisco Auto Center. Vehicle may be sold prior to the end of the auction. Seller reserves the right to end the auction early if the vehicle has been sold.
The winning bidder is required to contact seller within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.
