1992 Acura Integra Additional Info:
I'm the second owner of this "hot rod guy's commuter car". It's a bit of a head turner for what it is. I bought it stock from a college professor almost 10 years ago for my 100 mile commute. Since then, I had the engine rebuilt by Russ at Steves Engines in Azusa and a repaint by CL Autobody in Glendora. It's a fun car. Quick for what it is, and there's always someone flexing on you to go race around (I embarrased a BR-Z last month). Everything works except for the disabled cruise control and electronic antenna.. And no rear defroster.
I spent a lot of time on this car and don't really want to sell it. This was never my race car, but my commuter. It's done right. Runner, driver, turn key car. Nothing wrong with it. I have a new job that requires me to have a later model vehicle instead of just commuting to work.
The good: Lots of goodies. Mostly stock car.
Clean interior no tears in the seats, etc.
One piece JDM headlights.
A/C works okay.
Three year old polished 2 stage paint job in a Nissan graphite color.
The engine. 25k since I had it built. Started as a commuter build but snowballed fast. Fast. Strong. NepTune engine managment ECU. Not stock. Wont pass CA smog check. Details at end of ad.
5 speed trans. Shifts nice. OEM clutch and higher pressure, pressure plate when engine was done.
Later model Integra wheels. Decent Hankook? tires
Slotted and vented rotors. KYB Struts
2 inch exhaust with dynomax muff and resonator. 4-2-1 Header.
Kenwood stereo with MB Quart speakers/tweets. No amp installed. Needs one.
The bad?
Needs to be run on Premium gas ONLY. 12:1 compression ratio.
Disabled power steering. Took belt off.
The ebay clip on air dam in the front got damaged by a parking stop. Small scratches and rock chips in paint.
The ugly.
It wont pass visual smog (or emissions) in CA. AZ title.
I'm registered in AZ, so no catalytic converter either.
YOU need to figure this out.
The Engine
LS-Vtec conversion. B16 Head, B16 Short intake maniforld, Cold air intake, PR3 pistons, Shot peened rods, ARP rod bolts, Brian Crower Stg2 Cams, BC titanium valve retainers, Supertech valve springs, King bearings, Neptune Engine Mangement, Demon in P28 ECU, Innovate wideband O2 sensor. Always run on high zinc CenPeCo oil.. Built with the right parts by the right guys.
Neptune is bunch of fun. You can plug in your laptop to the ECU and change fuel and spark tables while reading the data from the wideband. I never ran too lean or advanced timing for the sake of longevity, but YOU can!
Cash transactions only. You show up with money, drive the car and make the deal.
