1992 Acura Integra Additional Info:

I bought this car because I always loved the style of this year. It was hard to find because most of these were customized and driven hard. This one is stock, except for an expensive stereo system, tailights, and wheels. The owner before me bought this car for his wife and they had it for approximately ten years and kept it in excellent shape. The original buyer bought it, basically, for a weekend car to drive just for fun. He was an older man who kept it immaculate. All of these years the car has been garage kept and it shows. All three owners were older and took very good care of it. Everything works as it should and the car is a joy to drive. It has a great clutch and is smooth shifting. The brakes and tires are in great shape. The car is tight and runs smoothly. It has the cleanest interior of any unrestored car of that age that I have ever seen. Oh, I almost forgot, it has an after-market alarm that is easy to use. Any red reflection on the interior is merely a reflection of the exterior color. The interior is near spotless. I just took it to a mechanic and he took it for a drive. He was very impressed. Even before I bought it, I detected a small click on SOME slow lefthand turns. He said the CV axles had been replaced and were good. The brakes had recently been replaced; wheel barings were all quiet and there was nothing to worry about. This is exactly what the guy said that I bought the car from. I, also, found a receipt from when he had that checked out by his mechanic and his mechanic told him the same thing as my mechanic. This car loves the curves and has a wonderful sound from the stock muffler. The paint is still very good, but it's been touched up wherever there was a bug bite or rock chip. Actually, I was just going to have the hood, itself, cut and polished or, as picky as I am maybe repainted. If you have the skill you could, probably, cut and polish the hood yourself. During the inspection, the mechanic and I looked at everything underneath and it was dry and no rust could be found. It does not leak fluid from anywhere and it uses no fluids between scheduled changes. The original tailights and radio/CD work fine and you will see them in the trunk. My wife and I are retired and she, now, suffers some physical disabilities and can no longer get into the car. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country or have a loved one drive it. It has a long life ahead of it, if maintained. I'm starting the bid at $2800 with no reserve, so potentially, the first bid could be the new owner. Remember your bid is binding, so if you have any questions or want to inspect it, it needs to be done before the end of auction. The new owner will be happy, so good luck to winning bidder!
