You are looking at the flagship car Acura designed in the 90's that still turns heads todaythis is it! This is a highly sought after car let alone colour combo in the Legend lineup and the most sought after 6 speed model. Ihave owned the car now for under 3 years. I am the 2nd TRUE owner. The original owner passed on and this car was sent to auction after sitting for a number of years in a Florida home owners garage. I am a Legend enthusiast and have owned 6 other Legends over the last 15 years, so I know the value of these cars quite well. It took me years to find any GS 6 speed model, this colour with low miles and this shape! I can say without a doubt I have not only kept it in great shape but alsobelieve I have improved the condition of the car as you will see below.Lets be honest they do not make them the way they used to! This Legend is in fabulous shape inside and out, pictures don't do this car any justice you need to see it in person. ZERO RUST with ZERO issues! This gem starts right up, drives straight and floats downthe road as if you were onclouds. AC works great and the heat is toasty warm. This Legend is just waiting for its forever home. These cars DO NOT come around very often and especially in this condition, options and colour combo. The only reason I have the car listed is because I have just purchased a new car and I'm buying a home in the fall. So unfortunately it's time for me to move it along. This car is always garaged for the entire year while living in British Columbia. Never driven in snow or rainy weather. We do not get much snow here just rain. It did originate from Florida and had an American title on it from a previous owner which I do have a copy of. The car was always maintained although it did sit for a number of years until I purchased it. It has some very minor tasteful upgrades as well as some some very, very minor flaws giving the age of the car. I have nothing to hide, when the car sells it will go to a good home where it will be appreciated and respected for the gem that is.
The Good: The car is literally mint! Clean Clean Clean! One very minor accident, cosmetic damage nothing more... zero rust its beyond comprehension actually. It has a couple of surface scratches but no major dents or issues except for a couple of pops on the hood. Everywhere I go peoplecan’tbelieve thecondition of the car. You can jump in and drive coast to coast with no problems! Car is maintained meticulously. No issues mechanically, electronically or otherwise. With the brake upgrades, and TLC this is a dream 6 speed Legend GS. You can genuinely know when you drive away this baby will bring you many years of pleasure and enjoyment.
The Bad: On the hood and it's just a couple very small dents. I'm going to get dent doctor to fix it but Im just stating the fact that there are a couple very minor dents in the hood only visible up close. Only other issue is the OEM factory stereo the speakers are finally starting to give up.The head unit works fantastic and so does all the steering wheel controls. The antenna just stopped going up and down a couple weeks ago, It's the antenna itself not the antenna motor that is broken. I had Honda look at it during the inspection in June of 2017. I just received a new antenna last week that just needs to be installed. Everything else works as the day it rolled off the assembly line. TCS,ABS, AC and all the windows, door locks, everything works.
Maintenance/UpgradesCar was not drivable when I got it. I replaced the Clutch, Flywheel, Master & Slave cylinders along with tranny mount. All 4 brakes had to be redone OEM in the back and upgrade in the front for a better breaking system. Timing belt and water pump were done as well as a good cleaning of the EGR. The car sat for a number of years and needed TLC when I found it and has got nothing but sinceI’ve owned it.
Upgrades/Mods: Weapon R Intake, Stromung Exhaust with B-Pipe, Custom Clear/Red Tail Lights, 4 Rotors including Mini BBK Upgrade to front brakes, Painted Calipers, NEW American Racing 17" chrome rims or 2004 Acura TL wheels painted in gloss black. Both sets can/will be included. Brand new rubber with less than 1000 miles on the Nitto tires. Im also including the stainless steel chrome plated shift plate. This was another custom piece for the car that was not cheap and adds a touch of class to the car. This car is set to be driven coast to coast... Im hoping the next owner will come up and drive it home!
Car is inspected every spring, all fluids are flushed and topped up. Car is stored in a heated garage. I have no problem having the car inspected by agarage of the buyers choice. I'm providing a copy of the inspection from Honda done in June of 2017. I am also able and willing to help arrange shipping at the buyers expense and can and will meet the buyer at theairport or Canada border if need be. I am 100% confident in my car and Ican't stress enough howbeautiful this Legend 6 Speed GS is. I'm confident enough to say I believe it's the nicest GS anywhere on earth. Original paint with anunbelievable 63,528 MILES!!! My car islicensedand insured and my summer driver so the mileage will not be exact. The moment car is sold I will no longer drive it and mileage will be documented. I recently had front tint removed from side windows in case the car is sold within Canada to make sure it passes all provincial inspections. Every window on the car is the OEM original with the VIN number in each for verification. Yesthats original windshield with no chips or cracks! The leather is soft and supple with no rips or tears and the FloorMats are brand new condition with an extra set of aftermarket all weather mats included.
