Here is a 1956 Willys Wagon, 4WD 6 cyIinder. I acquired the Willys from a past due tenant in 1991 in Bishop, CA. I towed it to Los Angeles and thought I would finish the restoration; never had time. Retired and moving and it has to go. It has been sitting for the last 23 years. I was told the engine was rebuilt, both seats have been recovered but need a good cleaning. My son put in a new Wrangler gas tank with sending unit, a pressure regulator and 2 fog or driving lights. It has a do it yourself dash panel with new gages. Looks like all the misc. parts are there. Looks like it has been changed to a 12v. electrical system. This Willys is a good candidate for restoration. My son and I started it when I first got it and found the carb needs to be rebuilt; hasn't been started since. Was told the heads needed to be re torqued. The tires are worn and need to be replaced but I think they will hold air long enough to have is shipped. I took the carburetor in for a rebuild and the store went out of business and the carb is gone. The tail gate will not close, the hinge is rusted open. The pics should give a better description than I can. I have the title that has been signed by the previous owner, I never got around to changing the title to my name.
