1989 Volvo 240 DL Additional Info:

This car is in great shape, in and out. Runs perfectly.
I bought this car on eBay in 2012, and here's what's been done to the car since:New Windshield and seal 2012New spark plugs/wires/rotor/distributor cap 2012New timing belt 2012New water pump 2012Transmission fluid/filter change and rear seal replacement 2012Replaced Motor mounts: 2012Fuel filter 2012New Rear pads and left rotor 2012Alloy wheels (previously had steel wheels and plastic hubcaps) and four Michelin Defender tires 2012Painted Roof and both doors on driver's side 2012New AC compressor 2013New radiator and hoses 2013Replaced both rear brake calipers 2013New alternator (Bosch) 2015New Battery 2015Satellite Radio added 2013New Flame Trap every 15K
The plastic center console is damaged (see pic). Small rusting lower edge of front doors (see pic). Tiny blemish in paint on trunk (see pic). The driver's door was repaired in 2014 after someone backed up into it.
I changed the oil every 3000 miles (overkill) with Mobil 1 5W-30 and used Volvo oil filters initially, then switched to Mobil1.
The mileage is actually less than the odometer states. The instrument cluster was replaced with one from a car with more miles. I will include the car's original cluster with the mileage of the car at the time. The actual mileage of the automobile is around 32,000 less than the odometer in the car reads.
I've driven this car all over the country, and the only problems I had were electrical. After the alternator and regulator were replaced, along with the battery, it turned out to be a broken circuit board on the instrument cluster computer. No issues after that. It is running r134, and these old Volvos are notorious for weak AC even with R12. Actually I had been planning to convert it back to R12 or Freeze 12 to blow colder, but never got around to it. I will include the new accumulator. The are a lot of extra parts in the trunk, including one of the fragile front door map holders in perfect condition.
