1981 Volvo 240 Additional Info:

Up for auction is a 1981 Volvo 242 DL. This car is in very nice condition, originally from California. Has no rust and appears to haveoriginal paint and glass. I purchased this car from the original owner a few years ago. I used it for my commuteand never had an issue, I would drive it anywhere. It was always garaged. I listed everything I can think of about the car below.
1981 242 2.1 Liter CIS injection, works great.Four speed with overdrive.New tires. Turbo wheels. Wheels not original equipment.New muffler, tailpipe and battery.Recent timing belt. Oil is changed every 3000 miles.Original radio but has been moved to the top of the dash.Original rebuilt speakers.All instruments working including odometer.Dash has two small cracks, pictured. Door panels and pockets in nice condition.Drivers seat has a few ware spots.Working sunroof, paint thinning on sunroof panel from opening and closing.Some of the small paint chips have surface rust only because I have not touched them up. Pictured.Car comes with all receipts since new, including the window sticker and contract.
This car has high mileage but has good compression and uses no oil. No transmission noise, shifts fine and overdrive works. May be on itsway to being a million mile Volvo. One of my other Volvo's has 400000 miles and is still used.Email any questions or for additional photos.
