1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

1967 VW Beetle in great condition. Outside and inside is beautiful. Interior is red with no tears in the seats. Original dash and stearing wheel in amazing condition with working glove compartment. Original radio still in working condition. Interior ceiling liner in incredible condition for these years. Under the back window is a sun worn spot. Some rust under battery (which is new and has 2 year free replacement warrenty at napa), and some rust on driver side floor. Passenger side floor is in great shape. Head lights work, blinkers work, left tailight works left tailight is out. Amazingly the reverse lights work. The blinker switch has been worked on and was melted back together. Outside has the awesome original chrome bumpers (rust spots on them but easily saved). Engine is the original 1500 cc converted to dual port. The car runs great and starts right up. At high speeds and after it warms up it is smooth and perfect. While cold and at stop lights it idles rough and dies sometimes which is caused by worn out intake manifold boots (where gas does leak from. Best VW mechanic in Utah quoted me 150, or do it yourself 10 dollars). Needs a new alternator belt and has a small oil leak. That is everything that I know is wrong with it. Black paint job is in great condition. No dings or dents. Just the dmall rust over left tire wheel. Has been really well maintained. I bought this from my neighbor for my little sisters first car. I found out 16 year old girls don't like classic cars. My neighbor owned the car since 1974. Kept in in a garage and drove it very little. He claims original 72k miles and that it has never rolled over. We never registered the car as she would never drive it so still have the 1974 title. Overall the car is amazing in my opinion. Needs a little tlc nothing that will cost alot and is easy to do yourself. I would keep it but my little sister needs the money for a cheap car and her IB program fees in highschool.
