By bidding on this ad you agree with the terms of the ad, and agree to comply with the terms of the ad. IF YOU BID, you understand there is a $500 deposit payable by paypal at the conclusion of the ad. Balance of the total purchase price is due within 5 days of the end of the auction, NO EXCEPTIONS (without contacting me first) - This means, you are to inspect truck in person BEFORE BIDDING. If you bid, you will pay according to the rules just described. You are not bidding to come and look at truck, and haggle afterwards. Truck is being sold with Europen registration and all paperwork to get US title in your state - guaranteed! If you want me to get Georgia title first, add $250 to purchase price and you will have to wait 30-40 days for title to arrive in mail. Otherwise truck is sold 'AS IS WHERE IS' - You should come and see in person to negotiate and buy. FOR MORE PHOTOS/ DETAILS, CHECK OUT ZOMBIEMOTORS.NE, AND TRUCK IS FOR SALE LOCALLY FOR $9000 --- CALL 912-414-8993 TO DISCUSS. I WILL BE ENDING AUCTION EARLY FOR REALISTIC/ POLITE/ RATIONAL BUYER ~~ THANKS!
If you have zero, or less than 10 feedback here on ebay - WELCOME! And be sure to email me before bidding with your contact information (phone number) - otherwise, I will have to cancel your bid and block you from bidding again. Sorry, but vehicle ads are expensive an time consuming, and people with less than 10 feedback rarely follow through with a vehicle sale. In fact, they have not read this far into my ad yet, so I do not know why I am even typing this. Bonus points ($50 off) if you comply here and win the auction.
THANK YOU FOR READING ALL THAT, NOW ONTO THE VW FOR SALE!
I recently imported this VW Transporter truck, to sell, I guess. I wanted it for myself, but I think a Doka may be a better fit for me.
This Volkswagen shows 82,100 KM on the odometer, I was told it is original, but more likely 182,10, which is still only 112,800 miles! HAs a much newer AAZ 1.9L turbo diesel engine, which starts on the button, immediately, with no smoke or trouble. Transmission shifts nicely, there are no leaks/ etc.
I drove this truck yesterday about 70 miles in 100 degree + weather, without much trouble at all - Truck is fast to 90 KM/H or so (50-55 - ish) and would likely go faster, but hits a point where it falls on its face, like it is running out of fuel. I think …. dirty fuel filter. I have not checked it out yet. IT did not overheat at all, but did get hot when I had to sit in very heavy traffic, at a standstill, for about 15 minutes waiting to get through a busy intersection. In short, I think it runs great, shifts great, but will never be super-fast. Would be a great around-town truck and a great hauler, gets a lot of attention and thumbs-up from people!
COSMETICALLY, truck is very straight, and exceptionally solid. Tracks straight. Treasure chest under truck bed is spotless, zero rust. Truck chassis has no rust. suspension tight. Blue paint very nice - But as you can see, paint is very faded/ falling off Westfalia made drop-side truck bed. Truck bed floor and sides are made out of plywood, and could benefit from being replaced and repainted, would make a world of difference to this truck.
Brake pedal goes further to the floor before brakes grab/ lock, which was concerning for a few miles to me, but then I got used to it and now I think it may be normal for a Vanagon T3 of this vintage? I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere, right now, the way it is, but would plan on going pretty slow (50 ?) unless the diesel filter was changed/ sorted out. Even then, 65MPH may be top speed.
This truck is for sale locally for $9000 --- If you want to buy it, call me at 912-414-8993. If you want to wait until the end of the auction to see where things go, be my guest, but I am not selling this truck for less than 9000, and I doubt it will make it to the and of the auction as I usually end auction early for buyer who calls to discuss/ offer/ deal 'live' with me. If you see ad end early, and you email me to ask if truck is still for sale, you will likely not get a reply. Sorry. If you are serious about buying this truck, call me.
Remember , by bidding or calling to buy, you agree to $500 Paypal deposit, and balance to be paid by any other certified method (cash, wire transfer, bank deposit) within 5 days, maximum time.
I can help you arrange transport, if necessary. If you want to come and inspect in person, great!, but you need to do this BEFORE BIDDING. If you bid and win, thank you! But you are bidding to pay me, not to think about if you want truck or not later. I can store for free for up to 30 days for you, but again, truck must be paid for within 5 days of auctions end.
Thank you again if you suffered my entire ad…. I hope to hear from you, thanks again, and check my other auction for Tdi engine conversion kits, Land Rover Defender 90/110s, as well as my VW Doka Tdi 5-speed.
