1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

You are looking at a 1969 Volkswagen Bug Convertible. This car was just taken out of many years of dry storage. The car appears to be 100% complete. We spent a couple days on it cleaning everything up and fixing a few things from sitting. The car drives very good. It could probably use a tune up and a fresh tank of gas. We didn't drain the tank we just added a few gallons of new gas and it fired right up. We put a good battery in it. There is a sticker on the motor that says it complies with 1974 regulations, so I am guessing the motor has been changed at one time. It has the 3 speed Autostick transmission that works as it should. I put about 10 miles on it just to make sure everything was working.

The body is in very presentable condition. The paint shines nice and all the chrome appears to be good. There is a couple spots were the paint is bubbling but not too bad. The underside of the car is not rusted out but it has had a couple patches years ago the way it looks.

The interior is all pretty nice and in good condition. The top is very nice inside and out. There are no rips in any of the seats. The door panels are nice as is the carpet. I would say the interior needs nothing. All the tires hold air and are in good shape. All the glass is good with no chips or cracks. All the lights and blinkers work.

The only things that need to be repaired that I could find is the fuel gauge doesn't seem to work, the radio doesn't work, the horn doesn't work, & the drivers side quarter window rolls up and down kind of hard. It could probably use a tune up like I said previously. All are minor issues but I ran out of time to look into them. This is a great car to drive and enjoy as is.

There is NO RESERVE, this will sell to the highest bidder!!!!!!

A $1000 deposit is due with 24 hours of auctions end and the balance within 7 days be wire transfer, check, or cash in person. If paying by check the car can't leave until the funds have cleared. I would like the car picked up with 14 days but I understand trucking some times is hard to line up.

Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
