Sorry for delay in adding new pictures. All of these additional pictures were taken today. Please note the exhaust can be changed back to original if new buyer would like the stock exhaust system instead. There have been so many questions hopefully I can answer a few right now. The engine is a 1600cc that I rebuilt about 1k miles ago. The engine runs very very well. At the time I converted it to a 12v system. I replaced the charging system with an alternator for better charging/reliability. Included with the sale will be the original 6 V generator and starter. The exhaust system I also replaced however I have the original and will gladly install if the new owner prefers that system. I know I’m repeating Myself with this but again yes but runs extremely well.I don’t think I mentioned before all four shocks have been replaced with new Sachs shocks. The entire brake system was replaced. Master cylinder, brake shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, brake lines etc. This morning I found some free time and performed an oil change and replaced transaxle fluid.I spent most of the afternoon driving the car and taking pictures of it and it performed flawlessly. I don’t remember if I mentioned it has five new tires as well. I hope the new pictures are sufficient. Please note the luggage rack and bamboo tray not pictured do come with the vehicle they’re just not installed right now. Thanks!

I’m so amazed with the volume of questions and interest in this car. I do feel I need to address a question that has been asked a few times. The underside of this car is not pristine but it’s not bad especially for a 60 year old car. This is not a show car that has been restored. It is an extremely nice 60 year old unrestored car. I’m at the limit with pictures allowed by eBay and I don’t have a vehicle lift. The underside of the car looks exactly like a 60 year old unrestored car should look like. A couple areas could use attention if show car is desired or leave it as is. I’m confident this car has never had the body removed and separated from the pan and then restored. It is an original driver and the overall condition of the car is very nice. Especially for a 1960 vw.Thank you all for the interest.
