Get your roadmaps out (or maybe Google maps) and plan a long getaway in this awesome Westfalia Vanagon! This Van hails from California and its overall condition is a testament to that. Perfect for camping excursions, this awesome van is full of upgrades, and extremely reliable.
All exterior finishes are in great condition. This VW has been repainted at some point recently, which has been done in the factory Pastel White color. Van Cafe 15" alloy wheels and new tires have been added which give this Westy a little more of a modern look.
The interior of this Vanagon is full of upgrades which have been neatly integrated. A few of those upgrades are; LED Bulbs/additional light fixtures, Pioneer Bluetooth stereo, Truckfridge TF49 modern refrigerator with Rocky Mountain Westy install kit, Jack Bombay pop top shocks, Second Battery system, and large gauge wiring for charging system. In addition to the upgrades, the rest of the interior is in great condition. Seating surfaces, carpeting, door panels, screens, and canvas for the pop top all show nicely.
Another great feature of this Westy is the fuel efficient 2.1L "Waterboxer" 4 cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt at approximately 186k with new AMC heads added. A great deal of upgrades have been completed on the engine and driveline recently and include things such as: new Bilstein shocks, Bosch Alternator, front and rear brakes, tie rod ends, front upper ball joints, GoWesty aluminum thermostat housing, Rocky mountain Cooling pipes and coolant tower, serviced CV's/boots, new catalytic converter (passes California smog), new heater core,/blower motor, and a fuel tank reseal kit. This Vanagon is all set for the open road. Get your roadmaps out and plan a trip, this Westy will have no trouble providing transportation, and living quarters. Smiles per mile are high with this one! Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
