1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

I'm moving and I need to sell this old beeter fast. NO RESERVE and I don't care what it sells for because it has to go, but PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH...I am pressed for time.
This was my summer daily driver from 2008 until 2013 but has been stored ever since. This thing is in no way worthy of restoration but it's easy to keep alive and fun to drive around.
Engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, brake lines, floor pans...all rock solid. Tires are like new.
What it needs... Fired right up after years of storage but won't idle. Fuel pump is leaking and not pumping (I drove it around the block after pouring a little gas in the carb). Front end needs alignment (I installed new strut inserts just before it was parked and this was never done). It definitely will need an oil change, tune up and serious carb clean. BRING A TRAILER. Heater channels were long gone before I got it in 2008. 4-speaker stereo still sounds great but the CD changer in the trunk is dead. It would only take a day or two of effort to be driving this thing around town but I'm closing on my house in two weeks and don't have a free hour.
EXTRAS - I have new aftermarket black vinyl seats with mounting brackets that were never installed. Rear window louvers. A misc. box of gauges, spacers and who knows what else. Custom Beetle car cover.
