1975 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:
My 75 Super Beetle is a full restomod. She was driven 60K miles with original factory equipment. Then, 10 years ago, she was fitted with all new everything. The power plant is a Boxer 2.5L liquid cooled 200 HP+ Stinger version IV tunable computer. She is mounted to a Freeway Flyer 411 Positraction 4-Speed swing axles with upgraded reinforced side plate and axles. Full front MacPherson Struts with Disc brakes. Custom Centerline wheels. There is about 2500 miles since she was built. Going to car shows only. The Custom Black paint has hand painted pinstriping. The interior was all custom installed door panels, seats, headliner to match in a cool mav with grey carpeting, black dash and tinted windows. She has a custom installed stereo bluetooth receiver with four speakers and a real working heater/defroster. All the lights, turn signals, brake lights, driving lights and wipers work great. Other custom details are the shaved turn signals from the fenders, custom bumpers, turn signals. You can see a short video here. https://youtu.be/19vpF0R15Os This is one of the faste's Supers on the road and turns heads everywhere she goes. Get great fuel economy, currently set at 30 mpg on the computer and rev limiter at 5500. So you can tune her up for more speed if needed. The engine was bored and stroked using all racing rods, bearing, cam and internal components. With the two stage lock up clutch and pressure plate, you can bring her front wheels off the ground and lay rubber in second and third gears. LOL. She is super fast, not for kids. So bid to win this classic custom restomod super beetle. You will not be disappointed. More pictures and videos on request.
On Mar-08-20 at 13:36:57 PDT, seller added the following information:I have purchased other parts that go with the car to update her for the next show. Newer SS rain guards for the front windows, still in the box. I have also purchased new flush mount rear tail lights from Brazil, I have also received wicked SS flame cut rear lens guards to mount over the rear lens. Here is another video link from last years car show.
Oh, since the last show, a crack in the dash showed up. She does have some rock chips from running down the road that are visible from 1 or 2 feet away. She can be a daily driver with updated tires. The tires show very well with tons of tread as new, but they are older tires that have always been in a climate controlled garage. I would trust them to drive anywhere in the lower 48 to go to a show, but to drive every day to commute, I would purchase new tires. That's just me. I have never had a flat tire in the last 40 years for I always keep new tires on my daily commuter. Here is another video.
