1965 Volkswagen T1 Additional Info:

The pickup was delivered to a carpenter’s workshop in Stockholm in August 1965.The second owner was also a Swede and used the T1 in his workshop.
The vehicle was deregistered in 1992 after engine damage.Then the pickup stood in a shed in Sweden until 2014.
We imported the vehicle through the help of an acquaintance.
We restored the vehicle very expensively in Samba style at the customer’s request.
Instead of the original pigeon blue colour, it was painted the Samba colour combination sea blue (L360) and beige grey (L472).We also covered the interior with Samba fabrics.Of course it wouldn’t be complete without the chrome ornamentation at the front and the stylish safari windows.All wearing parts such as tyres, brakes, joints, etc., are new.The technical part was revised completely.Engine and transmission were given a complete overhaul.In addition, a tarpaulin body with a high-quality linen tarpaulin (3 layers) was installed.The vehicle is completely cavity-sealed and in an absolute top condition.
The pickup has already been presented to the German safety standards authority TÜV without any defects.
