1975 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia Additional Info:

1975 Bali yellow bus which I completely redid the mechanicals to make a daily driver for me and the kids to enjoy the Colorado mountains. I have listed everything I can think of right now that I have put into the bus. I have spent well in the 15K range just in parts. I am very confident you could hop in this bus and travel to the end of the earth with no issues what so ever. It truly is all new underneath. I have receipts for most everything I have done on the bus. If I don't have it I can get it seeing I buy all my parts from one person in town. The good!Like I said it's practically all new underneath the vehicle. I am obsessive compulsive on making sure that my VW's are safe and reliable seeing the kids travel with me in them. I spare no expense to make sure it's done right. The canvass and top are in Okay condition. A few minor tears by the bottom and all the screens are good. The interior is all there. Sink, fridge, buddy seat, small bench, and hammock for over the front seat. The original green carpet is there. Some of the lamination is pulling up but we have used it several times with no issues. This model did not come with the kitchen table or stove. The Gas Heater is rebuilt and you can cook hotdogs off that bad boy!
The bad!
The vehicle was left out in a Kansas field for YEARS! It does have rust on both sides on the lower rockers. The battery tray needs to be replaced (which I have the replacement panel). None of the rust is in the beams or lower structure. Its simply the sheet metal. The front window has a crack in it and it has surface rust below.Whats new?Outside -New lights and lenses all aroundNew sliding door (works smoothy)Under Body -Throttle CableClutch CableBowden TubeNew Brake BoosterMaster CylinderBrake linesRear brake cylinders, pads and hardwareShocks (front and back)Wire harnessRebuilt and working Ebersoacher BN4 Gas HeaterRebuilt engine from Painters Grinding (Less than 100 miles on engine)Rebuilt Transmission from Mr. Gas (less than 100 miles on transmission)Shifter bushingsBerg ShifterTransaxlesFuel linesGas TankFuel PumpTiresFuel sending unitBatteryBattery CablesStarterGround CableInside -Turn signal assemblySteering wheelFront Door CardsRubber front matFront seatsBuddy BoxWheel well matsWindshield wipersHeater CablesElectric Windshield Fluid SprayerComes with an extra sliding door (The original)Well over 14k invested!A super solid running bus that's ready for someone to take to the next level.Let me know if you have any questions.
