1962 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Sunroof Rag Top Additional Info:

this vehicle originally came from CA - it was brought to the east on a flat bed. It has never been driven in he winter (only driven from May thru Oct and only during nice weather) therefore there is no rust. Since we purchased it in 1998, we have always garaged it when not in use. We had a new paint job from which we have lots of photos of before and after - the car was completely taken apart and glass beaded down to the bare metal first...and then painted (3 applications) using the original color of Rubin red. It was regularly serviced - tires and brakes are good...and everything works as it should...considering it's age of 57 yrs old!!! we enjoyed going to many vintage car shows and VW shows and a few times won some prizes :-)We hope someone who loves a classic bug will enjoy this car as it will bring many fun experiences....so why are we selling our bug???...we have too many vehicles ...please ask as many questions as you want!
