69 VW VOLKSWAGON SINGLE CAB PICKUP TRUCK BARN FIND 1969 TYPE 2 KOMBI TRANSPORTER

1969 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:

This is a recent true barn find, an all original 1969 Volkswagon Type 2 Single Cab Pick-up, was discovered in a barn out west in Oklahoma where it had sat in a barn for numerous years, and then shipped to Florida where it was given a full service and now is road ready. Vehicle does have some rust issues but not horrible and was completed as an original patina vehicle. It runs and drives great as shown in video and original engine does not smoke or drip oil. This is a great vehicle to drive as is or perfect for someone looking to restore one of these rare models. Odometer is showing 03592 miles so Im assuming it has 103592 miles on her. Some of the service that was performed was the engine was checked for compression, then serviced with the following new parts: plugs, wires, coil, air filter, air filter rubber tube, carb rebuilt, crankcase oil & screen flushed then changed, engine heater tubes, battery & cables, ignition switch, shifter knob, shifter complete assembly with new couplers, speedo cable, throttle cable, clutch cable, brake wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake hoses, master cylinder, brake fluid reservoir, pedal rubbers, smoothie rims, tires, chrome hub caps, fuel tank, sending unit, fuel lines, filler tube, gas cap, windshield w/ rubber (which installers cracked installing it), both door mirrors, dash vents, rear back glass, wiper blades, & mirrors. Headlights and tail lights work, turn signals work, hazards work, wipers work, interior light works, speedo works, horn does not work. Side windows roll up and down fine. CV joint rubbers are dry cracked. Has original spare and jack assembly under front seat, has original owners manual in glove box but is stuck together. We have located and installed the front lower splash pan since these pics were taken. I'm probably forgetting some items so please message with any further questions.
