Here's a great looking 1973 Safare Hightop bus title that i named clementine. This original hightop was a rare option in 1973 through Safare campers and comes with the stamp to prove originality. The safare package includes a water, and 12 volt inlet, as well as exhaust for the refrigerator. Clementine also comes with rare jalousie windows that provide a cool breeze but keep bugs and water out. The interior amenities have been pulled out to repair but were too rotted to be restored so it is an open canvas for a westfalia interior or interior of your choice for camping needs. I will also be including the hinges for a fold out bed similar to the westfalia so you can create the size bed you want. With the hightop you don't have to strain bending around and have tons of extra storage front and rear, or you can add an extra bed up top in the back. I am 6 ft and can comfortable stand inside and be able to move around.
The bus come with a clear title, still has its original paint and has minimal rust for its age but will still needs some spots taken care of. The cargo floor has been rust coated but will need rust repair near the wheel well. The bus's only other major rust locations are on drivers dogleg, battery tray, and exterior passenger rear panel but brand new high quality metal will be included if you would like to eventually repair it. The frame is solid and anything underneath the bus still has the original undercoating.
The bus was a runner but has since sat after the key was stuck in the ignition. The bus comes with a 1600cc carburated engine with good compression but was taken out in order to fix rear battery tray area but was never reinstalled. Needs cross member and a bit of wiring fixes for engine to be put back in and running. The transaxle shifts through the gears fine but since the bus has been sitting it'll need a brake job and other minor fixes so it can get back on the road.
Pictures say it all. This bus looks great and will run great with a bit of work. Could be a great road trip vehicle for the family or vanlife.
