I have up for sale my pristine fine ride. Two years in the making. Wish I could keep it for one more summer, but have to let it go. No short cuts in the restoration. Defiantly a show stopper at the local shows as it gets so much attention.

Very nice 23 window bus with Safari windows front and back. Full folding Rag top new. Unlike a 21 window bus, the 23 window bus has the corner rear windows that leave no blind spots when looking through the rear view mirror. One major concern in buying these International VW buses is the fact you have to go through a nightmare to put a California Plate on it. This bus was registered in California way back in the days when the laws were more relaxed so it comes with a CLEAN California Title and Plates.

As you can see, the total floors of the bus shows no signs of rust. This is a solid bus. Rubber mats are laid down. I never cut corners building my bus. Always used the highest quality possible.

The total roof surface was insulated with dense one inch thick foam ( see pic) before a new full perforated headliner was installed professionally by a reputable upholstery shop of high end cars. All the TMI gray tweed seat upholstery and matching side panels are all brand new and in excellent new condition. My bus was insulated on all interior panels using Dynamat. It not only insulates the bus for temperature, it quiets the noise. Full dash mounted sound system with IPod cable (hanging down in pic by keys) with polished custom bezel and two boxed 6x9 tri- speakers mounted behind the front seats on the bulkhead.

Rear engine hatch opens on its own with hatch shock. New Updated pull type fuses and wiring for dependability. Gas Door locking key mounted under dash by drivers door.

All Brand new Exhaustsystem. Correct oil bath stock air cleaner.

VW Turquoise Green and Oyster white paint shows very well with no scratches or chips in the paint.. I can't think of a better color combination for my bus. Its just the perfect vintage color combo! Matching painted white bumpers front and back. The beach pictures came out with the color being lighter than what it really is. It was such a bright sunny day as you can see with all the reflections in the shinny paint. The other pictures showing the paint being darker is truly what the color looks like.

All 4 whitewall tires are new with new chrome VW hubcaps.

Inside the detailed engine compartment you will find a stock rebuilt 1500cc Volkswagen 4-cylinder engine with less than 10,000 miles that starts on one turn of the key. Runs very strong! The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all 4 gears as well as downshifting. You won't find this bus popping out of gears. I could drive this bus across the USA in a heartbeat! Very reliable and great on gas.

This bus needs nothing. Both headlights, blinkers, brake lights and license plate lights work flawlessly.

Total Brakes all new which includes replacing Master cylinder. All wheel cylinders, hoses and brake shoes. New Steering Dampener, Tie Rod ends and Idler Arm installed. Brakes and steers perfectly straight. Idling it doesn't miss a beat!

You will get your share of thumbs up. Everyone loves this bus, young and old. I am selling my bus out of a collection of fine cars that I have had. because I’m moving to Hawaii, and do not want to have the bus get rusty. The new owner will have no disappointments.
