1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

This is a real Meyers Manx with an ID Plate, the last digit isn't shown so the winning bidder has that privacy. There is NO paperwork or documentation with this.. original blue California plates and a consumer affairs exemption number on sticker on windshield and thats it.. Recently removed from an estate and bought for engine and transmission which are NOT included in sale. The first two pictures show what you're receiving plus the original canvas top. This was built for a Porsche 911 Engine and Transmission which are not included.. The rear torsion bars are Porsche, also trailing arms and rear brakes. The two back rims are made from using Porsche rims as well. After the 911 engine installed it was immediately wrecked and put away in dry storage since about 1982. The body needs a lot of work, front beam was bent and pulled away from pan. The pan seems rust free. Two tires are not holding air, rolls with some effort. Original canvas top and both side curtains are in great pliable condition! This auction is an "as is" sale. NO PAPERWORK. If you are an international bidder, I will have a Bill Of Sale notarized for you for shipping. Buyer pays shipping. *trades/partial looking for 1966 Porsche 911 body/shell/parts. Please inquire for more photos.. Thank You.
