1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle Additional Info:

1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Super Beetle. This car is all original sat for 35 years, runs drives has Original Dual port 1600 engine. Sometimes Misses on right bank. New German Carbarator pic 3, new clutch, tune up etc. New heater boxes, muffler and tailpipes, tail light buckets and running boards. Never hit all original car floor pans mostly solid for 47 years old. It has rust on drip rails and flat part of pan behind back seat which needs replacing. Floors are very solid minus areas small just starting to poke through by battery, but easy fix. Has surface rust spots but seals up with rust converter. One small one on drivers rear floor size of a dime. Frame head etc solid. Drip rails have rust from sitting so long that will need fixing. Doors open and close solid no hanging with matching locks and keys. Heater boxes are very solid minus a hole about the size of a nickle in drivers side rear passenger floor area. Wheel arches great and on heater boxes one small nickle size hole at back of heater box in side drivers rear wheel well where box stops, but other than that heater boxes are solid. Electrical clean and original generator works, light restoration for right person to drive everyday. Newer wheels added and has new master cylinder for brakes and all new wheels cylinders. Brakes are bled and work, 4 wheel drum, new brake rubber lines also. E-brake works as well. I removed carpet and headliner to start restoration but moving so ill get another after move. Car also comes with new classic blue tooth head unit that i was going to use... car needs all 4 tie rods for steering, there original and loose, they need replacing. Other than, that its, a perfect car for restoration or what ever you choose. This car is in excellent shape for being parked for 35 years. I would hope this car finds a good home, it deserves one. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS FIRST YEAR SUPER BEETLE. Frame is great shape as are strut towers and trunk area. Right strut tower has one spot just starting and i stopped it, about the size of a dime or less. All matching numbers floor pan, dash, front tag from Wolfs Burg Germany AG and original matching number engine as checked and on Samba. Clean title but likely a 56 k car, as it still has original tins and generator and original V W belt!!! Yep, last owner added 100 k to mileage as he thought it was that because of age, like most people do I don't know why, but car doesn't show 156 k miles in wear, it shows wear of 56 k and 35 years of sitting in my opinion. Car sold, "as is" and pay pal is also available for payment. Any questions plz message me through Ebay, Nothing hidden honest car. I also have original side molding in box all 6 pieces the 7th piece is still on car down center of hood. BTW this car has its original bias ply spare and it was never used with air hoses for washer sprayer intact, and, yes, spare holds air...I know... i couldn't believe it either lol. Loose items in box in car but other than that i covered all areas of car for anyone to restore or fix. Trans and Axles and even suspension are all intact, i ran car through all gears off ground and smooth. no leaks not even oil...oil is clean and full. No modification total original survivor car. Oh and in pictures on center cap is missing, i have it, its actually in the glove box, so all good. i put rust stop on anything i could find on car to protect it with white rustoleum protectant coverter. If i didnt mention also fenders are all solid minus right rear by bumper mount has rust and needs repair or you could always bolt on a new fender there cheap. cant think of anything else...oh yeah 3 original keys go with it.

I also put all new bulbs in lenses, that's all bulbs in tails lights and front turn signals are all new bulbs and work. Turn signal switch is not in car i have in box along with new one but need to be installed for blinkers to work. brake and parking and headlights all work even back up lights. i never drove car it only was tested when i did brakes up and down driveway and inspected and cleaned etc. Ran off ground through all 4 gears and reverse and all works smooth. I also installed new wiper rubber on original blade arms and the wipers work great. Installed new pic on here or drip rails and other pics I had. Thank you.
