1982 VW Rabbit Diesel Pickup Truck

I've owned this vehicle for about a year now. I bought it with a salvaged title so I don't know why it's salvaged? The crumple zone on the frame rail looks good (see pic) so my guess is it got hit in the rear? The driver side tail light doesn't quit line up so that might have been hit?
The interior is nice, no rips or tears in the seats! The head liner was redone (pic coming soon). Includes CD player.
As for rust, there is some on the driver side door, battery tray and some in the bed. I bought it in Sothern California so as far as I know it's from California.
The drive train is a 1.6 Diesel with a 5 speed. I put a newer rubber valve cover and oil pan gasket. Replaced the cam seal and oil pressure switch. No motor oil leaks! The tranny does leak a drop now and then, I think it's coming from the driver side output flange? It does smoke when cold for about 10-30 seconds. Once it warms up there is no smoke.
It has a newer battery, Michelin tires, brakes, shocks/struts, strut bearings, timing belt, belt tensioner, air filter, fuel filter and two glow plugs. I also have the key to lock the camper shell!
I would be happy to let interested parties look at and test drive prior to bidding. Because it's a 36 year old truck it's not perfect and is being sold as is.
