1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

Hi, my name is Goldie, I'm a 1974 super beetle. I have a 1600 dualport motor and a 4-speed transmission, I run real good and shift smoothly. My brakes are really good too, I have a new master cylinder, new rubber lines at all four corners.My front brakes were rebuilt and the rears are good.

My owner gave me a new shift rod bushing and shifter, its nice and tight, he also gave me a new clutch about 3 years ago. I also have a new clutch cable and throttle cable.

Inside I have a aftermarket steering wheel, yes my horn works. I also have an upgraded pedal assembly, my clutch is moved left about 3/4 of an inch, makingroom for your big feet.My tires have about 60% life left.All my lights work and I have led bulbs for rear brake lights and turn signals, fancy.

I forgot to tell you I have a factory sliding sunroof, my owner rebuilt for me with new cables and seals. I don't leak in the rain or when you give me a bath.

Now I am 43 years old so I do have a couple small issues, I leak a little oi, it's embarrassing but we all do, its how I mark my territory, my front seats need to be reupholstered and my head liner has a couple small tears.

Outside my clear coat is peeling and I could use a paint job, or just drive me and love me the way I am. I do have a couple small rust spots, remember I'm 43, but my pans are solid.
