1975 Standard Beetle in above average condition. Has 20163 actual miles and has been garage kept. The body is in good condition, with original paint, no rust except for very slight bit at bottom of door windows. There is a fairly long scratch in the paint on the hood, which is shown in one of the photos. All chrome in good condition. This car runs and drives, all gauges work, has new tires. Brakes may need some adjustment because car has not been used in the past two years. Interior is in good condition, with original carpeting. Original upholstery, some slight wear on driver's seat back. This car belonged to my father, who passed away in 2015. I'm selling it because we have no room for it. Local pickup only. I have had several questions about the low mileage on this vehicle. 20163 is, indeed, the actual mileage. The odometer works, and has not been rolled back. Before he passed away, my father collected classic cars and trucks. He purchased this VW from a friend of his, and he owned this car for 20-25 years. HOWEVER, during the time my father owned it, he did not drive it more than to start it up every so often and run it around the block a few times, just to keep the motor from freezing up. So he did not put any significant additional miles on the car.
