1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup Additional Info:

I purchased this car in 2008 it was a 1 owner car always garaged in Goodyear Az. Zero Rust! I had A/C system changed (before driving back it to Nevada) to R134 refrigerant, compressor/dryer/new o'rings, A/C puts out at 38/40 degree's in Summer !
This had 1.6 diesel until 229, was a bit tired, took it out at shop and sold to another VW guy to rebuild for his !, Bought 1984 Gti 1.8 moto, sent it to a great Machine shop in Ontario, Oregon,where it spent the Winter, They boiled the block, line bored it, installed new set of German Mahle.030 oversize 10.5 compression pistons, redid the rods and each one weights exactly the same !, All New German Glyco and Kolbenschmidt rods and mains were installed, Used Goetze German gasket set and seals! The head was machine, new guides and Ate valve, springs retainers, keeper, all German parts also. the block was bored .030 over . The flywheel was machined and it all was attached to crankshaft and balanced,the motor was built in a engine room over a 3 month period.Entire cooling system was also replaced with all new components including radiator !
The new motor was installe, with new F&S German clutc, It underwent total new suspension including new heavy duty front Moog Coil springs and Bilstein front strut' s, the rear leafs were beefed up and new Bilstein rear shocks were added . I have a ew interior with carpets, recovered seats, New tan door cards,new armrests, window winder, door latch bezel cup, all ready tor install after you paint .On the outside I have new OEM tails. New flag mirrors, new door handles and gaskets, new rubber door seals all window seals, front and rear window seals, ready for installation also after paint!
Brand new Alpine Cd player is till by Advertise" > in box goes with it. car has New Kumho 185/60/14 tire, with OEM Snowflakes!This pickup has less than 3 miles on it. I towed it from Ontario to Reno last November (still in Storage in Reno Nv. where I now live.Had a spare front bumper with tow bar made for it (included) Has Chrome bumpers front and rear in perfect condition, Oh I forgot to tell you it also has New Stainless steel header, New 2 inch by Advertise" > complete exhaust system and New Weber carb and manifold, kit since it also has a vin number from original diesel it can be registered anywhere !
