1968 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Karmann Additional Info:

I am selling this 1968 Volkswagen Convertible for my 83 year old father. This has been his little garage project for the 12 years. Something fun to tinker on and take grand kids for ice cream. He has invested over $8000 to get
this car where it is today. Here are some the new features:
June 2006 - a New 1600 cc motor was added (not a rebuild) - 9/10
" a New 3 speed transmission was added (not a rebuild) - 9/10

Since the installation of the motor, transmission etc, the car has only been driven 2300 miles. The new 1600cc motor is hardly broken in. We just had the car fully serviced November 2016.
The car runs amazing. I would not hesitate to drive this car to California this weekend and enjoy the sun and surf. With very little work and expense, this car could easily be a winning
car at any VW car show.
